Lexington native Dr. Hannah Kurtz knew she was a cat lady and animal lover from an early age.
She graduated from The College of Wooster with a bachelor's degree in mathematics to prepare for a career in engineering but quickly realized veterinary medicine was her passion. After graduating from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, she moved to Louisville for general practice.
Dr. Kurtz's special interests include exotic companion animals, feline medicine, endocrinology, and dermatology.
When she's not working, she enjoys sewing and crafting. She lives in Louisville with her partner, their daughter, and a menagerie of animals - 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a bearded dragon.
